Xie Guangfeng, male, born in 1971, holds a master’s degree. He is Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMECAS).

He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Physics from Beijing Normal University in 1993 and Master of Public Administration from Renmin University of China in 2005.

He has successively worked at Science China Press of Science Press, the Bureau of Academic Divisions of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (formerly the Bureau of Members Affairs), and the Institute of Metal Research, CAS. He has served as Editor, Associate Professor, Deputy Division Director, Division Director, Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection. He has long been engaged in science and technology policy, strategic consultation, S&T think tank development, as well as Party building, disciplinary inspection, supervision and audit work.
