Education Background: Got master degree form Chongqing University in July 2007 Got Ph.D from Institute of Microelectronics Chinese Academy of Sciences in June 2011. Professional Experience: From August 2002 to March 2009,I was a member in the IMECAS, which is short for Institute of Microelectronics Chinese Academy of Sciences. From March 2009 to now, I am the director of BCS, which is Broadband communication system laboratory in IMECAS.
Research Interests: I am WU Bin and currently an associate professor in IMECAS, since I got PH.D in 2002. I am the director of broadband communication systems laboratory. My research interests include communication system and SoC development. Specifically, I focus on digital signal processing, communication signal processing, computer network protocols, high-speed interface and integrated SOC implementation. I have a deep understanding in basic theory of communications and digital signal processing systems and the key technologies of SoC integrated realization and I also engage in developing and researching related systems in digital signal processing, wireless communications(WLAN/LTE/4G), wired communications (coaxial cable access, power line carrier communication) and digital TV demodulation and receiving for a long term.I have organized and participated in more than ten projects, which include National Key Technology R&D program on wireless mobile communications, Natural Science Foundation, Knowledge Innovation Project of The Chinese Academy of Sciences and enterprise cooperation projects. I am the author of more than forty papers and hold more than twenty patens, all available on line. Besides these, I am the evaluation expert for Natural Science Foundation, 863 and local projects and the reviewer of many journals on information science. In terms of core technologies, my broadband communication system team is among the first in researching very high throughput (Throughput 100Mbps~Gbps) wireless communication chips which are based on MIMO-OFDM technologies and applied to very high speed wireless LAN and 4G in China. At present, the team has a deep analysis in baseband algorithms, networks protocols, prototype systems, SOC chips structures and high speed mixed signal communication integrated chips of broadband wireless communication. The team also accomplishes the demonstration of many chips and has established large amount of core intellectual property rights and the evolved technology has high research value and commercial prospects. As for the aspect of application, based on solid technology accumulation, the BCS team has done a long study of wireless communication systems and applications development based on 2G/3G/WLAN super high performance and low power consumption chips. As a result, a series of achievement are accumulated in wireless video transmission, smart home, industrial wireless control and wireless data transmission and multi-dimensional technical cooperation is launched with many companies in Beijing, Sichuan, Shandong, Guangdong and Jiangsu provinces. From 2009 to 2011,I participate in founding Chengdu CAS internet of things technology Co, ltd and am currently the vice manager. I am also the director of center of internet of things industry in Chengdu.
