RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Prof. Jia’s research mainly revolves around the scientific and technological issues related to the GaAs based Single Electron Devices (SEDs) and their application for next-generation, extra-high density integration. Based on the Binary Decision Diagram (BDD) theory, he has successfully achieved the integration of single electron devices. Furthermore, with his effort, the interfacial-states induced side-gate effect, which may lead to the degradation of the SED’s electrical performance, has been dramatically restrained by means of the Si interface control layer deposited by MBE (Molecule Beam Epitaxy). Such achievement lays out a foundation for GaAs based SED’s integration.
